Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Tawa Pulao Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into cubes 400 grams

  • Cooked rice 3 cups

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Onion finely chopped 2 medium

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Tomatoes chopped 3 medium

  • Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon

  • Coriander powder ½ teaspoon

  • Pav bhaji masala 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin powder ½ teaspoon

  • Green capsicum chopped 1 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • coriander leaves chopped, 1 tablespoons + for garnish


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions and sauté till translucent.

Step 2

Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, mix and cook till it turns pulpy.

Step 3

Add chili powder, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala and cumin powder then mix well and cook till the oil separates from the masala.

Step 4

Add little water and mix. Add chicken and capsicum and mix. Add salt, mix and cook till the chicken is fully done.

Step 5

Add rice and toss. Add butter and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
