Ingredients list for Chicken Bhuna Fry
- 2 Boneless chicken breasts
- 4 teaspoons Cashewnuts almonds powder
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 4 medium Onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 3 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
- 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 3 teaspoons Coriander powder
- to taste Salt
- ¼ cup Yogurt
- 2 teaspoons Garam masala powder
- for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, mix and sauté till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy.
- Cut chicken breasts into small pieces.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add ¼ cup water, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add salt, mix well and cook till the oil separates. Reduce heat, add yogurt, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces, mix well and cook on high heat. Add cashewnut-almond powder, mix well and cook till the chicken is fully done.
- Add garam masala powder and mix well. Cook for a minute.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
