By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 Dec 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chapatis, Oil Cuisine TamilNadu Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 2 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chapatti Upma 3 cups Chapatis hand torn 2 tablespoons Oil 4-5 Curry leaves 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal) 2-3 Green chillies chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder a pinch Asafoetida 3/4 cup Onion chopped to taste Salt Method Heat oil in non stick pan add curry leaves, cumin seeds and mustard seeds. When mustard seeds starts spluttering add urad dal and saute for a minute.Add green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt and saute for a minute.
