Ingredients
- 1/2 cup boondi
- 1/2 cup thick sev
- 2 tablespoons oil
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 12-15 curry leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- When the seeds splutter add red chilli powder and onions and saute for 1 minute.
- Add yogurt and mix. Add boondi and sev and mix.
- Add green chilli, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
