Ingredients list for Boondi Sev ki Subzi

  • 1/2 cup Boondi
  • 1/2 cup Thick sev
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 12-15 Curry leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Onions chopped
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt


  1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  2. When the seeds splutter add red chilli powder and onions and saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add yogurt and mix. Add boondi and sev and mix.
  4. Add green chilli, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
