Ingredients list for Veg Malai Sandwich - SK Khazana

  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium Green capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 medium Carrot grated
  • 1/2 cup Fresh malai
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 2-3 Green chillies chopped
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • Butter for applying
  • Green chutney for applying + to serve
  • Processed cheese grated to sprinkle
  • to serve Tomato ketchup

Method

  1. Take onion in a large bowl, add capsicum, carrot, green chillies, crushed black peppercorns, salt, fresh malai and mix till well combined.
  2. Apply butter and green chutney on 4 white bread slices, spread some vegetable mixture on each evenly.
  3. Sprinkle grated cheese and cover with remaining bread slices. Apply butter on top.
  4. Heat a griller and place the prepared sandwich on it. Grill till golden brown marks appear on both sides. Take it off the heat.
  5. Cut each sandwich into 2 triangles, keep them on a serving plate and serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
