Ingredients list for Tandoori Lollipop
- 12 Chicken lollipop
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- to taste Salt
- ¼ cup Hung yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon Mustard oil
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)
- ½ teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1 tablespoon Gram flour (besan) roasted
- for shallow frying Oil
- for garnishing Fresh mint sprigs
- to serve Lemon wedges
- to serve Onion rings
Method
- Take chicken lollipops in a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, lemon juice and salt and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Take yogurt, red chilli paste, mustard oil, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves powder, chaat masala, salt and gram flour in another bowl and mix well.
- Add marinated chicken lollipops and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 2-3 hours.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Place marinated chicken lollipops in it and shallow-fry till golden and crisp from all sides.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and serve hot with lemon wedges and onion rings.
