Ingredients list for Prawn Onion Bhajji
- 8-12 Medium prawns shelled and deveined
 - 1 Large Onion sliced
 - 4-5 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
 - for deep-frying Oil
 - ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
 - 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
 - 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds crushed
 - ½ teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
 - to taste Salt
 - to taste Crushed black peppercorns
 
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
 - Take onion and gram flour in a bowl and mix. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, crushed coriander seeds, carom seeds and salt and mix well. Add water as required and mix well.
 - Take prawns in another bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.
 - Coat each prawn with onion-flour mixture and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
 - Serve hot.
