Ingredients list for Poha With Mixed Sprouts
- 1 cup Pressed Rice
- 1/2 cup Mixed Sprouts boiled for 5 minutes
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 10-12 Curry leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 medium Tomato seeded and diced
- to taste Salt
- 1 Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Roasted peanuts
Method
- Place the poha in a colander and wash under running water till soft.
- Leave to drain for 10-15 minutes.
- Chop onion.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add curry leaves and onion and sauté till onion is light brown.
- Add turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add tomato and mix again.
- Add sprouts and poha and toss to mix.
- Add salt and lemon juice and mix well.
- Cook for a minute.
- Add peanuts and mix again.
- Serve hot.
