By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Oct 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Punjabi Course Breads Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Kulcha-SK Khazana 3/4 cup Cottage cheese (paneer) grated 2 cups Refined flour (maida) 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder 1 teaspoon Castor sugar 1/2 teaspo to taste Salt 1/2 cup Milk 1 tablespoon Yogurt 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur) 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder to sprinkle Onion seeds (kalonji) Method Put flour, baking soda, baking powder, castor sugar, salt, milk and yogurt in a bowl, add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough. Set aside for 1 hour. Mix together cottage cheese, onion, dried mango powder, green chillies, coriander leaves, chilli powder and salt in another bowl. Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease your palms and divide the dough into equal portions. Stuff each portion with a generous portion of cottage cheese mixture and shape into balls. Sprinkle some onion seeds on top and flatten into small thick discs. Keep them on a baking tray. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
