Ingredients list for Lipte Kadai Kabab

  • 300 grams Boneless chicken cut into cubes
  • 2-3 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • for garnishing Fresh mint sprigs

Method

  1. Heat sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan and bring to a boil. Add chicken cubes, stir and strain once the colour changes.
  2. Take chicken cubes in a bowl. Add yogurt, lemon juice, salt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin-coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Set aside to marinate.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add onion and sauté till it turns golden and crisp.
  4. Add marinated chicken cubes, mix well, cover and cook till the chicken is done and the mixture is dried.
  5. Garnish with mint sprigs and serve hot.
