Ingredients list for Lasooni Fish Tikka

  • 400 grams Boneless fish fillets cut into 2 inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup Garlic chopped and fried
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • to taste Black salt
  • 1/2 Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1 tablespoon Gram flour
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespo to grease Mustard oil
  • to baste Butter melted

Method

  1. Take fried garlic in a mixing bowl, add salt, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, black salt, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, carom seeds, gram flour, lemon juice and mustard oil and mix well.
  2. Take fish cubes in a bowl, add the yogurt mixture and mix well and set aside to marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  4. Skew a cherry tomato, a piece of green capsicum, a few pieces of fish pieces and end with a green capsicum piece and a cherry tomato on each wooden skewer and place them on a plate.
  5. Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and grease it with a little oil. Place the skewers on it and baste them with a little melted butter.
  6. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or till the fish is done.
  7. Bring the tray out of the oven, place the skewers on a serving plate and serve hot with onion rings and green chutney.
