Ingredients list for Goan Sausage Chilli Fry

  • 200 grams Goan pork sausages cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 Medium onion sliced
  • 2 Green chillies diagonally sliced
  • 1 Small green capsicum cut into strips
  • 1 Small tomato cut into strips
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder tea
  • to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add butter and let it melt. Add garlic and saute for ½ minute. Add ginger, mix and sauté till the raw smells disappear.
  2. Add onion, mix and sauté till golden brown. Add green chillies, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add capsicum and tomato, mix and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add sugar, salt, vinegar and tomato puree and mix well. Add red chilli powder and mix well.
  4. Add sausages, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer into a serving plate, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
