Ingredients for Desi Baked Pasta-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Lasagne sheets 8

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Garlic finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Medium onion finely chopped 1

  • Medium tomato finely chopped 1

  • Soya granules soaked 1 cup

  • Carrots finely chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Garam masala powder 2 teaspoons

  • Green peas boiled 1/4 cup

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • White sauce as required

  • Tomato sauce as required

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 8 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and garlic, mix and sauté well.

Step 2

Add onion and tomato, mix and cook till tomatoes soften. Add soya granules and mix well.

Step 3

Add carrots and turmeric powder and mix well. Add salt and garam masala powder and mix.

Step 4

Add green peas and 1 tablespoon coriander leaves, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 180º C.

Step 6

Spread a ladleful of white sauce in a glass baking dish. Top with 2 lasagne sheets, spread some more white sauce, tomato sauce and generous portion of cooked mixture. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons cheese and repeat these layers till all the lasagna sheets, white sauce, cooked mixture and mozzarella cheese are used up.

Step 7

Sprinkle remaining coriander leaves, put the dish in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.

Step 8

Serve hot.
