Ingredients list for Chicken Farcha

  • 8 Chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • to taste Black peppercorns , crushed
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • to deep fry Oil
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 3 Eggs , beaten
  • to garnish Onion rings
  • to garnish Lemon slices
  • to garnish Fresh mint leaves

Method

  1. Take chicken drumsticks in a bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, crushed peppercorns and salt and mix well. Add lemon juice and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Spread breadcrumbs on a plate and coat the marinated chicken drumsticks with it.
  4. Take beaten eggs in a bowl. Dip each coated chicken drumstick in beaten eggs, slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve hot garnished with onion rings, lemon slices and mint leaves.
