Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Cutlet - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken mince 250 grams

  • Large onion finely chopped 1

  • Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 3 tablespo for garnishing

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Oil for greasi to deep fry

  • Refined flour 1/2 cup

  • Eggs beaten 2

  • Dried breadcrumns 1 cup

  • Green chutney to serve

Method

Step 1

Mix together chicken mince, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, crushed peppercorns, garam masala powder, chilli powder and salt in a bowl. Add lemon juice and mix again.

Step 2

Grease your palms with some oil and divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into cutlets.

Step 3

Dust the cutlets with flour, dip in beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the cutlets till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 5

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with green chutney.
