To make the batter, mix together refined flour, maize flour, gram flour and soda bicarbonate in another bowl. Add sufficient chilled water and mix well to make a thick batter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip cauliflower florets in the batter till they are evenly coated, slide them into the hot oil and deep fry till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Transfer on a serving plate, sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
