Ingredients
- 1 cup cabbage chopped
- 1 cup red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 3/4 cup mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted fenugreek powder (methi)
- 3/4 cup sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon hing
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- In a bowl mix together cabbage, red chilli powder, salt, mustard powder and roasted fenugreek powder and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a non stisk pan add mustard seeds, hing and when it starts spluttering add it to the cabbage mixture.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Store it in air tight containers and let it stand for fifteen days.
- Serve with roti.
