Ingredients
- 15-18 medium prawns, peeled, cleaned and deveined
- 1½ teaspoons red chilli paste
- ½ tablespoon red chilli flakes
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 2-3 green chillies, chopped
- 2 spring onion bulbs, finely chopped
- 1½ tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons diagonally sliced spring onion greens + for garnish
- 1 tablespoon honey
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic, mix and saute for 1 minute.
- Add green chillies, mix and saute till golden brown. Add spring onion bulbs, mix and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add red chilli paste, mix and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add red chilli flakes and coriander leaves, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add prawns and salt and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add spring onion green, mix and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Switch the heat off, add lime juice and honey and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
