By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pomfrets, Fresh parsley Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Breaded Fish with Parsley Butter 2 medium Pomfrets heads removed 4-5 sprigs Fresh parsley ½ cup Butter to taste Salt 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Crushed black peppercorns 2 teaspoons Mustard paste 2 teaspoons Garlic 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 Egg 1 cup Bread crumbs 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese powder for shallow frying Oil for dusting Cornflour/ corn starch Method Take pomfrets on a plate. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, crushed peppercorns, mustard paste, chopped garlic and lemon juice and rub well on both the sides. Set aside to marinate for 5-10 minutes. To make parsley butter, finely chop parsley sprigs and add to the butter alongwith crushed peppercorns and mix well. Set aside. Break egg into a deep plate and beat well. Spread breadcrumbs on a plate. Add Parmesan cheese powder and mix well. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Dust marinated fish with cornflour, dip in beaten eggs and coat well in the breadcrumb-cheese mixture. Place the fish in the pan and shallow-fry till golden from both the sides and the fish is fully cooked. Transfer the fish on a serving dish.
