Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted boondi
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 2 spring onions with greens, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds. Add asafoetida and spring onions, mix and sauté for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, boondi and salt and mix well. Add ¼ cup water and chopped coriander, mix, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
