Besan Cheela Pizza Give the common besan cheela a new identity by turning it into a pizza base with a topping of your choice. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gram flour (besan), Mozzarella cheese Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Besan Cheela Pizza 1½ cups Gram flour (besan) For topping Mozzarella cheese grated For topping Processed cheese grated 2 medium Onions sliced 1 medium Green capsicum seeded and cut into thin strips 2 medium Tomatoes seeded and cut into thin strips as required Tomato ketchup for cooking Oil to taste Salt ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon Cumin powder ½ teaspoon Chaat masala 1 teaspoon Coriander powder Method Combine gram flour, coriander powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl. Add water as required and whisk well into a smooth and thick batter. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Pour ladlefuls of batter and spread into small roundels. Lower heat and cook till the underside is done. Flip and cook till the other side is done. Flip again and spread some tomato ketchup on each cheela. Place some tomato strips, capsicum strips and onion slices on top. Top with mozzarella cheese and processed cheese, cover and cook till cheese melts.
