By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Aug 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Asparagus, Oil Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Asparagus Curry 2 Asparagus chopped 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 medium Onion chopped 1 teaspoon Sugar 2 Green chilli chopped 1 teaspoon Green chilli chopped 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder roasted Method Heat one tablespoon oil in a non stick pan add cumin seeds, when it satrts spluttering add asparagus and saute till tender. Remove from flame and keep it aside. In the same pan heat the remaining oil add onions and sugar and saute till sugar caramalizes. Add green chillies, garlic, ginger and saute for two minutes. Add salt, cayenne pepper, turmeric powder, roasted cuminpowder and coriander powder and saute for a minute. Add asparagus and saute for a minute.
