Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice
- ¾ cup blanched spinach puree
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes + to sprinkle
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¾ teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Fried garlic to sprinkle
Method
- Heat butter and oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add red chilli flakes and mix well. Add spinach puree, mix well and saute on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
- Add cooked rice, mix well and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes or till the rice is heated thoroughly.
- Transfer onto a serving plate, sprinkle red chilli flakes and fried garlic and serve hot.
