Method

  1. Put the barnyard millet in a grinder jar and grind coarsely. 
  2. Heat 2½ cups water in a deep pan, add ginger-green chilli paste, salt, carom seeds and white sesame seeds, mix and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Add the ground millet and cook, stirring continuously, for 5-6 minutes.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle methi sambharo and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
