Millet Phirni

Method

  1. Take ProV Premium Black Raisins in a bowl. Add 1 cup water, set aside to soak for 10-15 minutes. 
  2. Bring milk to a boil in a deep non-stick pan. Add barnyard millet, mix and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring in between. 
  3. Meanwhile, put the soaked raisins into a blender jar and blend to a fine paste. 
  4. Once the millet is cooked and the mixture thickens, add the blended paste and mix well. 
  5. Add sugar, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes or till sugar dissolves. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. 
  6. Switch the heat off, transfer into individual serving earthen bowls and allow to cool. Once cooled, refrigerate for 1-2 hours or till chilled. 
  7. Garnish with silver warq, ProV Premium Black Raisins and slivered pistachios and serve chilled.
