Ingredients

Method 

  1. Take whole wheat flour in a bowl, add khapli wheat flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, roasted and crushed cumin seeds, garam masala powder, asafoetida, white sesame seeds, ginger-green chilli paste, fenugreek leaves, salt and oil and mix well.
  2. Add ½ cup water and knead into a stiff dough. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and rest for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a thick sheet and cut into roundels with a cookie cutter.
  4. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the dough roundels on the tawa and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
    Flip, press and cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes. Drizzle some ghee and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip, drizzle some more ghee and cook, pressing, for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool completely, arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
