Method

  1. Put black eyed peas into a grinder jar, add rice, cumin seeds, green chilli, ginger, coriander sprigs, salt and 1 cup water and grind to a coarse paste. Transfer it into a bowl.
  2. Heat a tawa. Brush some oil and spread a ladleful batter, drizzle some oil all around and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Use up the remaining batter similarly.
  3. Place the dosas on serving plates and serve hot with coconut chutney.
