- ½ teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1 medium tomato, cut into thin roundels
- 2-3 pickled gherkins, vertically sliced
- 1 medium onion, cut into rings
- 4 cheese slices

Method
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool slightly.

- Trim the head of each lettuce and halve them horizontally.
- To assemble the burger, drizzle mayonnaise on 4 lettuce halves. Place the patties over them. Sprinkle salt, and crushed black peppercorns. Place cheese slice and cover remaining lettuce halves. Secure it with a toothpick and green olive.
