Ingredients
- 3 medium raw mangoes
- 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons chopped jaggery
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Method
- Remove the top portion and grate the raw mangoes into a thali.
- Add red chilli powder, salt and jaggery and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes or till the jaggery dissolves.
- For tempering, heat oil in a small non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and once they start to splutter, add cumin seeds, mix well and let them change colour. Allow to cool.
- Add this to the grated raw mango mixture and mix well.
- Use as required.
