Ingredients
- 200 grams French beans, stringed
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
- 1½ tablespoons finely chopped garlic
- 2-3 spring onion bulbs, diagonally sliced
- 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoons crushed roasted peanuts
- 2 teaspoons toasted white sesame seeds
Method
- Heat sufficient water in a deep pan, add salt, mix well and bring it to a boil.
- Add French beans and cook for 5-6 minutes. Drain and dip into ice cold water.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add spring onion bulbs, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
- Add French beans, soy sauce, vinegar and crushed peanuts, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add salt and toasted white sesame seeds and toss again.
- Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
