Garlic Beans

Stir-fry cooking is considered healthy. The people of the East use this technique to cook most of their vegetables. This French beans preparation is simple and flavourful and a must try.

Method

  1. Heat sufficient water in a deep pan, add salt, mix well and bring it to a boil. 
  2. Add French beans and cook for 5-6 minutes. Drain and dip into ice cold water.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add spring onion bulbs, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add French beans, soy sauce, vinegar and crushed peanuts, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes. 
  5. Add salt and toasted white sesame seeds and toss again.
  6. Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
