Ingredients
- 2 cups desiccated coconut
- 1 tablespoon ghee + for greasing
- 2 tablespoons chopped cashewnuts
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
- 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
- ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
- ½ cup condensed milk
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick kadai, add cashew nuts, almonds and pistachios, mix and sauté till golden brown. Transfer onto a plate and set aside.
- Add desiccated coconut to the same pan and sauté on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer into a bowl, add all the nuts and green cardamom powder and mix well.
- Add condensed milk and mix well.
- Grease modak mould with some ghee. Put some coconut mixture into the mould and press well.
- Demould, place the modaks on a serving plate and serve.
