Ingredients
- 6 chicken wings, halved
- 1 cup grated mixed cheese
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard paste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2-3 teaspoons cornflour slurry
- 1 cup milk
- Chopped chives to sprinkle
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Take the chicken wings in a bowl, add salt, crushed black peppercorns, smoked paprika powder, dried mixed herbs and Dijon mustard paste and mix well.
- Arrange on a baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- For cheese sauce, heat butter in a deep non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add mixed cheese, mix and cook till cheese melts. Add cornflour slurry and mix well.
- Add milk and mix well so that there are no lumps.
- Transfer the baked chicken wings onto a serving plate and drizzle the prepared sauce over them. Sprinkle chives and serve hot.
