Ingredients list for Thakkali Gotsu
- 3-4 medium Tomatoes
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 3 Green chillies
- 8-10 Curry leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Rice flour
Method
- Chop the onion. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add broken green chillies and curry leaves and sauté lightly. Add onion and sauté on medium heat till lightly browned.
- Chop the tomatoes and add to the pan and mix well. Add turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add 1 cup water and cook on high heat.
- Mix rice flour with 1 tbsp water till smooth. Add it to the tomato mixture and cook till thick. Serve hot.
