Ingredients list for Thai Chicken in Tortilla Wraps

  • 300 grams Boneless chicken cut into small dices
  • 4 Tortilla wraps
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli oil
  • ½ teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil (til oil)
  • 1½ tablespoons Oil
  • 1 medium bunch Romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium Carrot cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium Cucumber cut into thin strips
  • Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Take chicken in a bowl. Add hot chilli oil, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, egg, chilli flakes, salt and sesame oil and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add marinated chicken along with the marinade and sauté till chicken cooks evenly from all sides.
  3. To make sauce, put peanut butter, chilli oil, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and salt in a bowl and mix well. Add water if required.
  4. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place tortillas and heat them.
  5. Place a tortilla on a worktop. Put Romaine lettuce on it and top with carrots, cucumber and cooked chicken mixture. Drizzle peanut sauce over it and roll tightly. Prepare remaining wraps in a similar way.
  6. Halve them and serve immediately.
