Ingredients list for Stuffed Bread Pudla
- 8 Bread Slices
- 4 tablespoons Gram Flour
- 1 small Green capsicum chopped
- 1 small Red capsicum chopped
- 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Cabbage finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- Mix gram flour, green capsicum, red capsicum, tomato, cabbage, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, green chilli, lemon juice and salt in a bowl. Add a little water and mix well to make a thick batter. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Place the bread slices on it one by one, pour a ladleful of batter on it and let the underside cook. Flip, drizzle some more oil on it and shallow-fry till evenly done from other side as well.
- Serve hot with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
