Ingredients list for Spicy Masala Prawns
- 25-30 Medium prawns cleaned and deveined
- 3 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 Medium onion chopped
- 5-6 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons Red chilli paste
- to taste Salt
- 1 Medium tomato copped
- 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- 2 tablespo to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till translucent. Add garlic, sauté till fragrant.
- Add cumin powder and coriander powder, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
- Add red chilli paste, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add salt, mix and saute for 1 minute.
- Add tomato, mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add prawns and mix well. Add some water, mix, cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
- Add tomato ketchup and vinegar and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
