By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Sep 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Corn kernels, Maize flour (makai ka atta) Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Spicy Corn Patties 2 cups Corn kernels boiled ½ cup Maize flour (makai ka atta) 1 Green chilli finely chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons Ginger finely chopped ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 teaspoons Lemon juice 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons Rice flour ½ cup Bread crumbs ½ teaspoon Salt for greasing Oil for shallow-frying + to serve Tomato ketchup Method Grind together corn kernels, red chilli powder, ginger, green chilli, cumin seeds, lemon juice, coriander leaves with some water to a smooth paste. Put maize flour, rice flour, breadcrumbs in a bowl. Add salt and mix well. Add ground paste and mix well. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Grease palms with oil, shape the mixture into patties. Shallow-fry the patties on hot tawa, turning sides, till crisp and brown on both the sides.
