Ingredients
- 4 raw bananas, halved horizontally, boiled, peeled and cut into fingers
- 1 tbsp oil + for deep frying
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 4 green chillies
- ½ cup raw peanuts
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1 cup scraped fresh coconut
- 1 medium bunch fresh coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the bananas fingers till golden and drain on absorbent paper.
- Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and green chillies and sauté till fragrant.
- Add raw peanuts and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Add fried bananas, raisins, coconut, coriander leaves, salt, sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
