Ingredients
- ½ cup green chutney
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- ½ cup gram flour
- 1½ tablespoons rice flour
- 1 teaspoon yellow chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 teaspoon dried mint leaves
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
Method
- Take raw peanuts in a large bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, yellow chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add green chutney and mix till each peanut is coated with the masala. Add ¼ cup water and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the peanuts, one by one, into the hot oil and deep-fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle dried mint leaves and chaat masala and toss well.
- Transfer into a bowl and serve.
