Ingredients list for Peanut Butter Noodles

  • 2 tablespoons Peanut butter
  • 200 grams Noodles parboiled
  • 7-8 Spring onions with greens
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 6-7 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Fresh red chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 cup Dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Green capsicum
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts


  1. Slice spring onion bulbs. Chop ginger, garlic, fresh red chillies in a chopper. Heat oil a non-stick wok, add spring onions and sauté for ½ minute.
  2. Add ginger-garlic-red chillies and sauté for ½ minute. Add dark soy sauce and ¼ cup water and stir. Cut capsicum into thin strips. Add peanut butter and ¼ cup more water to the wok and stir to blend well. Add brown sugar and vinegar and mix. Add noodles and capsicum and mix.
  3. Chop spring onion greens and add along with bean sprouts. Toss and mix well. Add roasted peanuts and mix. Serve hot.
