Ingredients list for Pasta Sundal
- 3 cups Macaroni boiled
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 5-7 Curry leaves
- 1 Green chillies chopped
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 3 tablespoons Scraped coconut
- 3 tablespoons Gun powder (molagapudi)
- 1/4 cup Coconut milk
- 4 teaspoons Peanuts roasted and skinned
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add cumin seeds and saute till the colour changes. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add curry leaves and green chilli and sauté for 5 seconds. Add asafoetida and sauté for 5 seconds.
- Add macaroni, scraped coconut and gun powder and mix well. Add coconut milk, peanuts and salt and mix well.
- Add coriander leaves and lemon juice and toss.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
