Ingredients list for Paneer Bhature-SK Khazana
- 1 cup Cottage cheese (paneer) grated
- 1 1/2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
- a pinch Baking soda
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Castor
- 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil
- 1/4 cup Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- to serve Chole
- for garnishing Onion rings
- for garnishing Green chilli
Method
- Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, castor sugar, 1 tablespoon oil and yogurt in a parat. Add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 1 hour.
- Mix together cottage cheese, coriander leaves, green chillies and salt in a bowl.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and stuff with a portion of cottage cheese mixture and shape into a ball.
- Grease the worktop with some oil and roll out each stuffed ball into a bhatura.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry each bhatura till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with chole, onion rings and green chilli.
