Ingredients
- 1 cup raw sorghum (paunk)
- ½ cup mint leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- A pinch of baking soda
- 3 tablespoons gram flour
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- ½ inch ginger, chopped
- Oil for deep frying
- Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
- In a food processor, add paunk, mint leaves, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, baking soda, gram flour, onion, green chillies, ginger and process the mixture to a coarse paste.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, drop small portions of the prepared mix and deep fry till crispy and golden. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
