Ingredients list for Mutton Mushroom
- 500 grams Boneless Mutton cut into medium sized pieces
- 12-15 Button Mushrooms halved
- 2 Medium onions
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 4 Green chillies
- 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped
- 1 teaspoon Garlic chopped
- 1 Large potato peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 2 Medium tomatoes finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 2 teaspoons Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Whole wheat flour
Method
- Halve onions and slice.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and saute.
- Roughly chop green chillies and add along with ginger and garlic, mix and sauté well.
- Add mutton, mix and cook on high heat.
- Dice the potato and add along with turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add mushrooms, tomatoes and 2 cups water and mix well. Add salt and garam masala powder and mix well.
- Take wheat flour in a bowl. Add water as required and mix well into a smooth slurry. Add this to the cooker and mix well. Cover and pressure cook till 4-5 whistles are given out or till the mutton is fully done.
- Serve hot.
