Ingredients
- 4-5 radishes (mooli) with leaves chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 spring onions with greens, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and saute till the seeds splutter. Add asafoetida, green chillies, spring onion with greens and radish leaves, mix well and saute on high heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Add radishes, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add ½ cup water and mix well. Once the mixture comes to a boil, add gram flour and mix. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes or till the radishes are cooked completely.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
