Ingredients
- 3 medium carrots
- 3 medium tomatoes
- 1 medium beetroot
- 1 small bitter gourd (karela)
- 1 medium bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
- ¼ medium cabbage
- 1 inch ginger
- 10-12 tirfal
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- Ice cubes, as required
Method
- Soak the tirfal in ¼ cup water. Roughly chop carrots, tomatoes, beetroot, bitter gourd, bottle gourd, cabbage, ginger and put them into a juicer. Add tirfal water and extract juice. Collect the juice in a jar.
- Add lemon juice, black pepper powder, salt and mix well.
- Place some ice cubes in each of 4 glasses and pour the vegetable juice and serve.
