Ingredients

  • 3 medium carrots
  • 3 medium tomatoes 
  • 1 medium beetroot 
  • 1 small bitter gourd (karela)
  • 1 medium bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
  • ¼ medium cabbage
  • 1 inch ginger 
  • 10-12 tirfal 
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Ice cubes, as required

Method  

  1. Soak the tirfal in ¼ cup water. Roughly chop carrots, tomatoes, beetroot, bitter gourd, bottle gourd, cabbage, ginger and put them into a juicer. Add tirfal water and extract juice. Collect the juice in a jar.   
  2. Add lemon juice, black pepper powder, salt and mix well.  
  3. Place some ice cubes in each of 4 glasses and pour the vegetable juice and serve.
