Ingredients list for Masala Peanuts

  • 100 grams Peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
  • 2 large Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Rice flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala
  • a pinch Baking soda
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Chop garlic finely and put in a bowl.
  2. Add peanuts, gram flour, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and baking soda and mix well.
  3. Add a little water and mix well. Deep fry these peanuts in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
