Ingredients list for Hare Pyaaz Aur Boondi Ki Sabzi
- 8 Spring Onions With Greens
- 1 1/2 cups Khari Boondi
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 6-8 cloves Garlic chopped
- 2-3 Green chillies chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder
- 3 tablespoons Scraped coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till they begin to change colour.
- Add asafoetida, garlic and sauté till fragrant.
- Chop spring onion bulbs and the greens separately.
- When garlic turns light golden brown, add spring onion bulbs, green chillies and mix.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and amchur and mix.
- Add spring onion greens and 2 tbsps coconut, garam masala powder and khari boondi and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish remaining coconut and serve.
