Ingredients

  • 200 grams Goan pork sausages, cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • ½ inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 fresh red chillies, cut diagonally
  • 1 small capsicum, cut into strips
  • 1 medium tomato, cut into strips
  • A pinch of sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add butter and let it melt. Add garlic, ginger and sauté well.
  2. Add onion, sauté till golden brown. Add red chillies, capsicum, tomato, and cook for 2-3 minutes or till the mixture is cooked completely.
  3. Add sugar, salt, vinegar, tomato puree, red chilli powder, and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add sausages and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
