Ingredients
- 250 grams chicken mince
- 1 medium carrot, finely chopped
- 1 large potato, boiled, peeled and mashed
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
- ¼ cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vinegar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Semolina (rawa) for coating
- Oil for shallow-frying
Method
- Mix together chicken mince, carrots, potatoes, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, chilli powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder, green chillies, breadcrumbs and egg in a bowl. Add vinegar and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. Dip in beaten eggs and coat in semolina.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Place the patties on it and shallow-fry till golden brown from both sides and the chicken is cooked.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
